It's hard to believe that it has been one week since Kinley was born. Time is already flying (insert sad mom face here)! We had a fantastic week. Aunt Kara stayed with us through Friday and handled all of the cleaning, laundry, housework and of course lots of cuddle time with her favorite niece. We spent the week visiting with many dear friends and a few of Kinley's potential boyfriends. Grandpa even made it out to spend the day with his granddaughter. We are so blessed for all the love our little girl already receives!
Kinley is a wonderful baby, she has adapted so well and definitely knows who her mommy and daddy are. She is a sweet and loving baby girl and is such a good baby. She sleeps in 2-3 hour stretches at night only waking to nurse and have a diaper change then falling right back to sleep with no fuss. Mommy has managed to get a decent amount of sleep over this first week.
Kadey is also in love with Kinley. She loves to watch her and lick her head. Anytime Kinley gets upset Kadey is right there to make sure everything is okay. She stands on her hind legs and peers into the bassinet periodically to check up on her little sister, it is so sweet.
